MonitorCRO was founded in 1999. The first two international studies were in the field of haematology and cardiology (Phase II and III). These allowed Monitor to strengthen its knowledge and experience in the field of study monitoring and project management.
Then together with an International Early Phase CRO, Monitor actively performed product development studies (including BE/BA studies) for European clients.
In 2000 the very first GCP training was performed in Turkey with Harrison Clinical Research, Munich, Germany.
In early 2000s, Monitor managed an international cardiovascular project in Turkey enrolling 900 patients. Turkey was recognized as the best participating country in this study
The same year MonitorCRO initiated to provide bioavailability (BA) and bioequivalence (BE) studies for Turkish and international clients together with close collaboration with the first BE Clinical site at Erciyes University, Medical School, Kayseri, Turkey.
In 2007, Monitor’s progression continued in other areas of medical research such as data management, statistical work and study report writing.
Later on the same year, MonitorCRO became a major partner for sponsors in designing and management of epidemiological studies, from project development to medical writing. These were variety of large scale epidemiological studies on different type of cancers such as prostate, colon and breast cancers in Turkey.
These studies were then diversified into other major medical areas with full range of services giving MonitorCRO a competitive edge among the other CROs in Turkey.
MonitorCRO since 2000 through its successful collaborations with analytical laboratories in Europe has completed 100+ BE/BA studies
Due to a change in local regulations in 2010, Monitor became the leading company in the field of contracting, recruiting, training and assigning site coordinators for research centres in Turkey.
Since our establishment in 1999 we have managed 200+ projects.
